“Neon Nerd” Artist Ingrid Alvarez at Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Illuminated
Brooklyn, New York – On Saturday, February 1st, 2014, NYC-based artist Ingrid Alvarez leads bow tie decorating, how to tie a bow tie, and “Neon Nerd” dance moves with kids ages 9 to 14 at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, as part of their ‘Illuminated’ winter event series.
This “Do It Yourself” workshop featured a Glow-in-the-Dark Clubhouse theme, complete with black lights for Eric Girardi’s Glow Show, featuring juggling, yo-yo antics, and a Glow-in-the-Dark Discotheque dance party.
