Ingrid Marie Alvarez-Harbour is a professional artist with over 15 years experience making, showing and selling her artwork. Classically trained in drawing and painting, she obtained her BA as an Interdisciplinary Visual Art major at the University of Washington’s School of Art. Ingrid simultaneously pursued entrepreneurship, becoming certified in digital design and marketing.
Currently based in New York City, Ingrid continues to create visual art and digital content from her Staten Island studio. She serves as a Teaching Artist/Educator at the Staten Island Museum and Art Lab, Inc at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. Ingrid enjoys serving the community as an arts and sciences advocate, propagating the belief that all students benefit from arts-integrated learning.
